Today marks the end of my externship at United Talent Agency. In past six weeks, I’ve had the opportunity to engage in a program that has been pivotal in my professional development. Through Q&A panels, training workshops, and one-on-one mentorship, I’ve learned an unquantifiable amount about the inner workings of a talent agency and entertainment industry as a whole.

None of this would have been possible without the constant support from the Learning & Development Team. I want to thank Laura Roenick, Andra L. P., Zohaib Uddin, Vanessa Montes, and Kristina May Angeles for tirelessly working behind the scenes to curate such a rich learning experience for us, and for spending countless hours with us on Zoom over the past few weeks. The fact UTA provided a summer experience for college students in light of the pandemic speaks volumes about the company’s commitment and investment in the future professionals in the entertainment industry.

And of course, to my fellow externs: I never thought that I could get so close to a group of people without having met them in person. I'm blown away by your drive, your intelligence, and your creativity. I could not be more grateful for this opportunity, and I could not be more grateful that it brought you all into my life. #teamUTA
