🚨 The reality of America's working class today? It's overwhelmingly female.
🔍 69% of federal minimum wage earners are women. 🔍 Women make up 62% of workers in the 20 lowest-paying occupations, with most earning under $35,000 a year. 🔍 These same female workers are largely shouldering the caregiving burden for children and elderly family members.
It’s time for real change. We need policies that lift up our working women and give them the support they deserve.

Earlier that day, however, child care was the ⭐ star of the show ⭐ at the inaugural National Child Care Innovation Summit hosted by Secretary Raimondo, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation, U.S. Chamber of Commerce, and U.S. Department of Commerce.
On this day, government, philanthropic, and community leaders embraced employers who are taking child care seriously. Employers like Micron Technology and Corning Incorporated who understand child care investment is the secret to building a resilient workforce.
Thursday was a 🎢 to say the least.
