Happy to announce that the Inter-American Development Bank has published its new Agriculture Sector Framework Document (SFD).
The SFD orients the IDB Group’s work on agriculture in Latin America and the Caribbean. It describes the challenges associated with the agricultural sector and summarizes evidence on the effectiveness of policies that address each of them.
It also considers lessons learned from the IDB Group’s own experience and proposes evidence-based lines of action. Each section of the document is organized around three challenges: (i) food security; (ii) agricultural income; and (iii) environmental sustainability.
