Highlights
My two cents:
➜ In less than 18 months, most strategy consultants will be using AI regularly to contextualize data and insights.
➜ In less than 3 years, consultants will rely on AI for highly customized strategic recommendations, ensuring they follow ethical standards.
➜ In less than 5 years, AI will be integrated into every stage of strategy consulting. Now, don’t get me wrong.
For you, consultants, the biggest threat is not AI itself.
It's your large-sized competitors who invest heavily in AI to deliver faster and more actionable strategies.
➜ AI excels at processing data and identifying trends ➜ It analyzes past data and predicts – although with some limitations, future outcomes ➜ AI turns complex data into easy-to-understand business insights
But AI will never replace your ability to: ✅ innovate ✅ read across subtle human interactions ✅ interpret complex nuances – which most successful strategies rely upon ✅ sense underlying tensions and motivations to change
You’ll always be the "strategy expert”, ensuring AI suggestions align with what your clients care about: where to play + how to win.
At Quantive, we empower strategy consultants to be faster, more efficient, and more insightful. By saving time on tedious data processing, you open space for meaningful client connections and innovative ways to solve strategy problems.

Strategy as a Game Converter: Understanding the Play Between Infinite and Finite Games
In his exploration of game theory, Prof. James Carse introduced the concepts of Finite and Infinite games, which Simon Sinek later popularized inspiring many to re-think both in business and in life.
Finite games, like chess, have known players, fixed rules, and a clear endpoint. The goal is to win. Infinite games, such as business or life, have no final winners, no pre-set participants and only one rule: keep playing!
Within this framework, consider Infinite Games i) Vision+Mission and ii) Market Dynamics; these latter ever constantly evolving and changing, challenging businesses not just to adapt but to become antifragile (Nassim Nicholas Taleb docet).
Strategy, in this context, is not just a "feeling good 3-page written by CEOs". It becomes THE game converter that continuously transforms the broad, ongoing and adapting aspirations of an organization (Infinite Games) into actionable, operational plans (Finite Games) necessary for daily operations.
Failure to adapt at the speed of change can lead companies toward extinction.
By reframing strategy as a dynamic tool, companies can navigate through shifting market dynamics effectively, ensuring antifragility and enduring success.
How does your organization translate its long-term vision into immediate, actionable strategies? How do you adapt to constant changes in the market?
