Currently holding key roles in various organizations such as Chair of the Program Advisory Council at Grand Challenges Canada and the Nomination Evaluation Committee for the US National Medal of Technology and Innovation, with a strong focus on innovation ecosystems and talent development.

Formerly serving as the Executive Director of The Lemelson Foundation, leading initiatives to harness the power of invention for societal improvement and cultivating inclusive programs to inspire the next generation of inventors and entrepreneurs.

Played a pivotal role at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation by founding the Global Health Discovery Program and developing innovation programs like Grand Challenges in Global Health, contributing to the replication of these initiatives worldwide.
