Highlights
I moved to Australia in 2012 with the intention to stay "for one year". After a few adventures around Melbourne, Victoria and Tasmania, it became clear that I was in Australia for the long run.
I had the privilege to become Australian at the start of 2020. I then made a commitment to myself: if I was to become an Australian citizen, I wanted to meaningfully connect with the Traditional Owners of this land, listen and learn from Indigenous Australians and offer my contribution.
That intention led me to meet with Rodney Carter and Steve Jackson from the Dja Dja Wurrung Entreprises Pty Ltd. After some time getting to know each other and building trust, their offered me a position on their Board. Last month, I was appointed to the Board of Directors of the DDWE, which was accepted at the DDWCAC Board meeting held on 23 June 2023.
I am grateful for this opportunity to contribute to the Dja Dja Wurrung Entreprises - with a lot of exciting projects shaping up. Thank you for your trust. I look forward to working together.

Great reflections on leadership in the public sector and what makes it unique, rewarding, meaningful, … and hard! : purpose, transparency, rigid parameters, the ethics of trade offs, measuring performance, power in a world where your customers are your boss , collaborative decision making process and the uncertainty of political life cycles.
I do love it :)
