Caroline Voagen Nelson is a Media Artist and Educator with a rich background in editorial photo and video production.

Caroline completed her Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Digital Art at Pratt Institute, specializing in Animation and Motion Arts. She also holds a Masters in Design and Technology from Parsons School of Design and a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Studio from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

Caroline's academic journey began with a High School Degree in Visual Arts from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, where she graduated with honors.

Caroline Voagen Nelson has made significant contributions to various organizations as a Visiting Assistant Professor at Pratt Institute and PrattMWP, Assistant Professor at The City University of New York, and as a Photo Editor at Time Out New York. She also served as the Director and Co-Founder at CUPALOY Studio, specializing in video, animation, and photography.

Caroline's accolades include being a NYFA Fellow for Video/Film, receiving the Best Emerging Artist Short Award at the DOCUTAH Documentary Film Festival, and winning the Jury's Choice Award at the Black Maria Film Festival.
