Carolyn Horner

CEO of Unbloat, Entrepreneur in Residence at Gateway X

Carolyn Horner is the CEO of Un Co LLC, a subsidiary of Gateway X, overseeing the success of their flagship product, Unbloat, which reached $3M in ARR within just 3 months of launch and is currently at breakeven point and experiencing continuous growth.

Before her role at Gateway, Carolyn co-founded and served as CEO of Jenzy, an app designed to help parents easily purchase well-fitting shoes for young children aged 0-6 through an online platform.

Having graduated from Cornell University in 2014 with a dual-degree in Government and Asian Studies, Carolyn's academic and athletic achievements include captaining the Cornell Varsity Field Hockey team for two years, earning 4-time Academic All-American, and 2-time All-Ivy First Team accolades.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Carolyn is actively involved as a board member of The Horner Foundation, focusing on youth advocacy programs in Philadelphia, particularly on empowering young girls in community engagement, leadership development, public speaking, and community organizing.

Her education includes a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in Government and Asian Studies from Cornell University, as well as completing a Mandarin program at Beijing Normal University and holding a High School Diploma from Peddie School.

Carolyn's affiliations also span various roles such as Entrepreneur In Residence at Gateway X, Trustee at The Horner Foundation, Advisory Board Trustee at Sciencenter, Co-Founder of Jenzy, and a Fellow at Teach For China from 2014 to 2016, among other internships and positions in different organizations.
