I'm feeling energized coming out of two days in Chicago at #SIS24 with more than 1,000 other social impact leaders @Social Innovation Summit.

My biggest takeaways:

  • Finding 'your people' can really help inspire innovation and creative collaboration - and the community of leaders committed to driving social impact is an amazingly supportive one
  • No more "confetti philanthropy" - for more impact, more value creation and to contribute to meaningful systems change, donors and companies need focus
  • Our vision of socially transformative business is becoming a reality - we heard many pioneering examples of great corporate social agendas. Leaders need the courage to stay the course, moving beyond compliance to authentic, meaningful social contribution
