Carter Lavin is a climate activist and transportation advocacy consultant based in Oakland, California. He specializes in training individuals and organizations to enhance their effectiveness in advocating for transportation and climate issues. With over 15 years of experience, Lavin has successfully helped various groups—including businesses, non-profits, and grassroots organizations—mobilize support and win campaigns at local, regional, and state levels.

His work includes notable achievements such as reversing a proposed $4 billion cut to transit funding in California and securing a $1 billion expansion in transit funding.
