Cassandra Brooks

Cassandra Brooks is an accomplished individual with a diverse educational background in communication, marine science, and biology. She holds a Doctor of Philosophy from Stanford University, a Master of Science in Marine Science from California State University, Monterey Bay, a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Bates College, and has also studied at the University of California, Santa Cruz, The School for Field Studies, and Cornell University.

She has held various roles in different prestigious organizations over the years, including currently serving as an Assistant Professor at the University of Colorado Boulder. Previously, she was a Ph.D. Candidate at Stanford University and has interned or worked in various capacities at renowned institutions like The Seattle Times, The Last Ocean, The Scientist, National Park Service, Boston Children's Hospital, Santa Cruz Sentinel, National Academies and Beckman Foundation, San Francisco Exploratorium, and many more.
