Catalina Albeanu is currently focused on enhancing the digital footprint of DoR, a non-profit media organization that publishes a narrative journalism magazine and hosts live journalism events and unconferences. She is actively exploring the implementation of a membership model to ensure sustainability and is dedicated to making narrative journalism more interactive and engaging.

In her previous roles, Catalina excelled as the lead of the editorial team at Journalism.co.uk, where she authored news and features and produced podcasts catering to a B2B audience. She played a key role in organizing events like the digital journalism conference newsrewired and managing the media training portfolio. She also showcased her expertise by presenting and moderating sessions at various renowned industry events such as the Global Editors Network Summit, International Journalism Festival, Mojocon, and Lviv Media Forum, among others.

Before her tenure at Journalism.co.uk, Catalina served as a freelance multimedia reporter specializing in tech coverage in Shoreditch. She also gained valuable experience as a trainee with Olympic Broadcasting Services during the London 2012 Olympics, where she developed a deep appreciation for quality coffee.

Catalina Albeanu's educational background includes A-Levels in English Language, English Literature, and French with impressive grades of AAA from The Bishop's Stortford High-School. She further pursued studies in Mathematics and Computer Science at Colegiul National Bilingv George Cosbuc. Catalina holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Journalism with a 2:1 from City University London.
