A fabulous day at the FT Women in Business Summit, and it was a pleasure to take part in a panel discussion around the impact that AI could have on gender equality. We covered everything from managing bias, through growing female representation in AI teams, and developing products specifically designed to help women.

Wonderfully diverse and inspirational panellists - Bolor (Obuna) Battsengel, former Vice Minister of Digital Development in Mongolia and founder of Girls Code Program; Kristin Hanley, Global Sales & Marketing Executive at Schneider Electric and Lu Zhang, Founder and Managing Partner of the Fusion Fund, alongside moderator Murad Ahmed, Technology News Editor at the Financial Times.

I like to be hopeful. AI will never be a panacea for deep rooted societal challenges, but if we are thoughtful and purposeful, then together we can harness AI, and the disruption it is causing, for good.
