She studied for her Master’s degree in Experience Design at Virginia Commonwealth University, where she developed a profound understanding of how to create meaningful experiences that resonate with users. Prior to that, she earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Craft and Material Studies, also at Virginia Commonwealth University, equipping her with a unique artistic perspective that informs her design sensibilities.
Additionally, Catherine pursued studies at Lorenzo de Medici, which further broadened her understanding of design in a global context. This enriching educational background, paired with her practical experience, positions her effectively for future endeavors in the creative industry.
Achievements
Throughout her career, Catherine has held various roles that demonstrate her versatility and commitment to excellence. Notably, she served as an Educator at lululemon, where she shared her knowledge and passion for design with others, while also nurturing her skills in leadership and mentorship. During her time with lululemon, she also took on multiple positions including Store Inventory Lead and Key Leader, reflecting her ability to adapt and excel in different capacities.
In addition to her work at lululemon, Catherine has contributed to the arts community as a Studio Assistant for Family Programs at the National Gallery of Art, offering her support in facilitating engaging art programs for families. Furthermore, her role as a Front Desk Coordinator at Virginia Commonwealth University School of the Arts allowed her to remain engaged in the educational sector, where she developed strong interpersonal skills and a sense of community with fellow students and faculty.
Catherine's experience extends beyond conventional design roles, as she has served on the da Vinci Center Innovation Team as a Summer Intern at The Martin Agency, where creativity and innovation are key.
