Catherine Phiri

Catherine Phiri is a Zambian professional boxer who held the WBC female bantamweight title from 2016 to 2017.1 She won the title on January 30, 2016, after defeating Yazmín Rivas in Mexico, making her the first Zambian to win a WBC title.1 Phiri debuted as a boxer on July 25, 2011, after defeating fellow Zambian boxer Esther Chalwe.1
