Highlights
Posted a few days ago but this piece by Sophia Quaglia highlights how important the development of plastic alternatives are for all of us. Coca Cola has pledged to make 100% of its packaging recyclable globally by 2025, and to use at least 50% recycled material in packaging by 2030. That's all well and good, but they ought to look at alternatives that reduce plastic in the environment altogether, such as tech innovation like that from Polymateria.
Fantastic to chat to folks at the The Groucho Club Ltd. yesterday morning at the Propel breakfast featuring a panel of experts in climate tech: Aira Group CMO & Commercial Director Pamela Brown, Ross S., GM and SVP at Cloverly and Matt Jellicoe, Founder, One Planet Capital. A great discussion about the challenges and opportunities founding, running and scaling businesses in the climate tech sector. (I needed that coffee after nearly being run over on my bike by a bolting horse on the Strand just before the event!!!)
