Chan Thai is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Communication at Santa Clara University. She is also the Faculty Director of Cura Residential Learning Community.
Her teaching and research interests include health campaigns, campaign evaluation, health and cancer communication, health psychology, behavior change, college student health, wellness, and media literacy.
Chan Thai holds a PhD from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She completed her B.A. in Social Welfare and Mass Communication from the University of California, Berkeley, and her M.P.H. from UCLA School of Public Health.
Prior to her current position, she was a postdoctoral fellow at the National Cancer Institute, Adjunct Faculty at Johns Hopkins University, and held various roles in research and academia.
