Charis holds a Bachelor's degree from Brown University, majoring in Art Semiotics, Political Science, and Modern Culture & Media. Additionally, Charis completed the Wharton/Google MBA Program with a focus on Marketing at The Wharton School and also studied International Law at the University of Helsinki.

With a notable career at Google, Charis has held various key roles such as Head of Marketing & Communications at Google DeepMind Institute, Creative Lab Team Lead for the EMEA region, YouTube Product Marketing Manager for APAC, Innovations Marketing Manager for APAC, Brand and Search Product Marketing Manager for APAC, Marketing Strategy & Operations Manager for APAC, and Account Manager for Large Customer Sales in the US.

Prior to Google, Charis gained experience in education as a Corps Member at Teach for America and ventured into roles at MMG Partners, Women Thrive Alliance, United States Commission on International Religious Freedom, and the U.S. Department of State.
