Charles Fracchia is a prominent figure working to advance the bioeconomy space. He currently serves as the Board Chair of BIO-ISAC, a bioeconomy-focused information sharing and analysis center, and is a member of DARPA's ISAT group.

With a rich background in the biotech sector, Charles was the former founder and CEO of BioBright, which was later acquired by Dotmatics. Prior to that, he held a VP of Data role at Dotmatics, gaining valuable insights and experience in the industry.

Charles brings a wealth of experience from esteemed organizations such as IBM Research and Ginkgo BioWorks, where he honed his skills and knowledge in the field.

His academic journey is equally impressive, having studied at prestigious institutions like MIT, Harvard Medical School, and Imperial College London, specializing in areas such as biology and industry.

Throughout his career, Charles has been involved in various roles within different organizations, including research assistant positions at MIT Media Lab, Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering at Harvard Medical School, internships at IBM and Ginkgo Bioworks, as well as contributions to projects like iGEM at Imperial College London.

Furthermore, his professional development includes training at renowned institutions like Institut Pasteur and Steria, along with responsibilities such as webmaster at the University of Exeter.
