Charles H. Dufresne, Jr. is a Co-Founder at American Public Infrastructure, LLC, a pioneering infrastructure equity firm focusing on core infrastructure assets for U.S. public pension plans.

He is actively involved in the National Institute of Public Finance (NIPF.org) as a Co-Chair of the Investments & Pensions program and serves on the Board of Trustees.

With a background in managing infrastructure investments, Dufresne was formerly a Managing Director at Sciens Capital Management, overseeing strategic development, government relations, and sales in various sectors including water infrastructure, data centers, and fund of hedge funds.

Prior to his role at Sciens, he was a Founding Partner at Tiedemann Investment Group and a securities attorney specializing in capital allocation transactions.

Dufresne's educational background includes an MBA in Finance and Marketing from Fordham University, a BA in Literature, Philosophy, and Political Science from Emory University, and a JD in Securities Law from New York Law School.
