Has anyone listened to Grenfell: Building a Disaster? I haven't yet, but I did read "Show Me the Bodies: How We Let Grenfell Happen" by Peter Apps. It is excellent and very readable, even if quite a lot of it deals with the building regulation failures that led to the disaster. Reading or listening to the Grenfell story is, I think, essential for all of us involved in business continuity, emergency planning, or crisis management. We need to learn the lessons from the response but also, more importantly, the series of failures and events which led to the disaster happening.

I have been running a public course on Cyber Incident Management for the last two days. We discussed business email compromise, one of the many cyber incidents affecting organisations. It is not as well known as ransomware, as often, it only has an internal impact, and organisations don't like to admit they have been scammed and lost money. The example I used was the Norfund, the Norwegian state-owned investment fund that lost $10m to a business email compromise. This example affected Orion and takes the money lost to a new level.
