Whenever I’m booked to shoot headshots on location, I often get asked:
“Is this a good place for you to set up?” This is a natural concern, especially if you’re worried about space constraints or the lack of natural light.
It's a common misconception that bright office lights or natural light are necessary for a good headshot. However, with the studio strobe lights and camera settings I use, the lighting and size of the space don't matter. I will always produce a high-quality final image like the one shown here.
Hire a professional photographer with the equipment and expertise to overcome any challenges your office may present.
*See the setup I had to work with, in the waiting area of a small office space. Let me know what you think of the final image produced in that space.

Day 2 of the NBA draft is about to start. Will Bronny James get drafted?
First off, there will be no Bronny slander on this post or tolerated in the comments. I recognize this is a polarizing topic (among basketball fans) and I'm well aware of my bias seeing that I got to photograph him during his high school career. Still, he's a good kid who didn't ask for any of this spotlight, but here we are.
I know that LinkedIn is not typically used for sports debates, but I wanted to pose a different question. Why is it that in business, it is normal to see a Father grooming his son to take over the "family business", but in sports, we tend to penalize athletes because of how famous their last name might be?
Yes, you can argue that sports is and should always be a meritocracy and there shouldn't be any appearance of nepotism. But if I was able to help my son get opportunities just by making some phone calls, I guarantee I'd do it too.
Lastly, I'm not a basketball scout by any means, but Bronny's athleticism and basketball IQ should really make him a useful asset on someone's bench. His biggest downfall was that he didn't grow to be 6'8'' like his Dad. That being said, I'm rooting for the kid and for everyone who is pursuing their dreams, no matter what advantages they may or may not have.
