Charlie Kimes is a seasoned professional with a wealth of experience in technology leadership, product management, and business strategy.

In 2019, he was tasked by Senior Leadership to establish GBT's Salesforce Center of Excellence, overseeing Salesforce capabilities like SalesCloud, ServiceCloud, CPQ, and CLM, transitioning from Salesforce Classic to Lightning, and managing third-party resources for technical delivery.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic's impact on the travel industry in 2020, the project shifted to an all-internal team, completing the Salesforce Lightning Project successfully under his leadership.

Before his role at GBT, Charlie led the Data Products Group at American Express Global Business Travel, focusing on management information, business intelligence, and big data products, including driving the data product roadmap post-spinoff from American Express in 2014.

His extensive tenure at American Express includes overseeing product development and management in the Merchant Services and Global Network Organizations, with expertise in B2B solutions and the payments industry.

Charlie Kimes holds a Bachelor of Science in Business/Marketing from Northern Arizona University, College of Business Administration.
