Charlotte D'Hulst is a talented bioengineering and biotechnology expert with a PhD in Biomedical Sciences, from the University of Antwerp. She is the co-founder and CEO of Yesse Technologies, the cutting-edge biotech company that specializes in Odoromics, decoding the power of smell for odor-based disease diagnostics and disrupting Flavor & Fragrance R&D pipelines. Her academic work studying the molecular biology of a system is the foundation of her fascination for science and has resulted in the Orion21™ platform, Yesse's core. Charlotte's commitment to her company's mission of decoding every single smell on the planet shows in her participation in several entrepreneurship programs leading to a successful seed round of financing in 2018. Her education background includes a Bachelor's degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering and a Master of Science in Biotechnology from KU Leuven. Charlotte was also a Springboard Enterprise alumna in 2018. Before co-founding Yesse Technologies, she served as a Senior Research Associate and Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Hunter College.
