Charlotte Maddix

Charlotte Maddix is currently the Scotland Rewilding Policy and Advocacy Lead at Rewilding Britain.1 In this role, she supports the partnership with the Scottish Rewilding Alliance, coordinates and implements its advocacy strategy, and brings insights from Scotland into Rewilding Britain's wider policy and influencing work across Britain.1

Prior to her current position, Charlotte worked as a researcher for a Member of the Scottish Parliament.1 She also has experience working in partnerships for a local government think tank.1

Charlotte is passionate about land use and has been involved in the #RewildingNation campaign, which has engaged thousands of people in discussions about rewilding.2 She has also been active in promoting opportunities within Rewilding Britain, such as encouraging applications for Board positions.3

Fun fact: Charlotte has visited 63 of the UK's 70 cities, with Liverpool, Hull, and Armagh among the few she has yet to explore.1
