Highlights
It was very insightful to visit key government stakeholders in #Hungary 🇭🇺, alongside our EU Gov affairs Lead Elisa Caner and our Hungarian leadership team Csaba Remenyi and Balazs Varga, as part of their EU Presidency. We reiterated Oracle's priorities ahead of the forthcoming European Commission mandate, and showcased our readiness to address Hungary’s strategic considerations and technology needs with our first-in-class sovereignty-focused cloud solutions ☁️🔒. We engaged with several key stakeholders, notably with the Hungarian Digital Agency DMU, the Ministry of National Economy, the Ministry of European Affairs and IVSZ - IT Association of Hungary. Our discussions centred on the need for European decision-makers to drive cloud adoption in the public sector to boost the bloc’s competitiveness; promote a multi-cloud approach for fairer competition; address the widening and crippling skills gap; and remove barriers to a successful European Single Market. With a growing footprint on the continent, Oracle remains committed to partnering with European governments and the public sector to advance digital sovereignty and foster innovation. So proud to see that the European Commission chose Oracle's Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) platform including more than 100 OCI services to be available for all the EU institutions and its agencies across the EU. This is a great validation of the strong security, scalability, flexibility and performance that OCI offers.
