Freunde in Berlin, my friend Dai Oka is moving from Tokyo to Berlin and is looking for a frontend dev job locally! If you or someone you know is hiring, I'd appreciate if you let him or me know. I'd also appreciate any general tips on hot companies he should look into! :)

Friends in the Bay, which cool companies are hiring for roles in privacy / security / human rights in user research or other product or operational capacities?

A close friend is coming fresh into SF with years of fieldwork and academic experience in the space. He's extraordinarily good at what he does and also just the nicest guy, I'll be jealous of anyone who'll get to work with him.

He's interested in topics like hate speech and fake news, politics, government affairs, and security, and broadly any area regarding society<>tech. In the past he worked with extremists, political dissidents, religious minorities, and refugees, in the field and often in a digital context, as well as at Yale, Oxford, and Tsinghua.

Please PM me with any ideas for top companies/organizations, and of course also if you're hiring yourself:):)
