Chauwei Yak is a seasoned professional with over two decades of experience in corporate finance and fund management. She has cultivated strong relationships with key financial players like private equity firms and hedge funds, enabling her to assess strategic options for companies effectively.

With a rich background that includes serving as the Director of Research for the family office of prominent figures such as Prince Pavlos Crown Prince of Greece and Robert Miller, founder of the DFS duty free empire, Chauwei is well-versed in building research and portfolio management systems and overseeing investment selection and due diligence processes.

During her tenure at JPMorgan Chase and UBS Investment Bank in New York and Tokyo, Chauwei contributed significantly in strategic business development and financial institutions group roles, playing a pivotal part in notable transactions like the $3 billion asset swap between JPMorgan and Bank of New York and the $7 billion merger between SunTrust Banks and National Commerce Financial Corporation.

Chauwei's impressive professional journey also includes membership in esteemed organizations such as the Institute of Valuers & Appraisers, Singapore (IVAS), the Singapore Institute of Directors, and advisory roles at the Family Office Association and NYU Stern Family Office Council. She holds various certifications, including completing the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst program and the Chartered Valuer and Appraiser program.

A distinguished alumna of the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School, Chauwei graduated summa cum laude with dual degrees in Economics and Asian & Middle Eastern Studies, specializing in Japanese, along with a Minor in Mathematics. Her linguistic capabilities include fluency in English, Mandarin, and Japanese.
