Cheryl Dahle, an entrepreneur and journalist, is known for her work at the intersection of design and systems change.

She is the co-founder and CEO of Flip Labs, a social innovation design firm, which initiated the Future of Fish project to address global overfishing.

Dahle's leadership in the Future of Fish initiative resulted in the creation of a non-profit innovation hub supporting entrepreneurs combating overfishing.

Her efforts were recognized when Future of Fish was a national finalist in the 2012 Buckminster Fuller Challenge for its systemic approach to complex issues.

Previously, Cheryl Dahle served as a director at Ashoka, distilling insights from a vast network of fellows for strategic guidance to foundations and corporations.

She brings her expertise to academia as an Adjunct Professor at IIT's Institute of Design and as a Professional Affiliate at Carnegie Mellon University, having also delivered lectures at Stanford University and Oxford University's Said Business School.

Cheryl Dahle received her Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Northwestern University.

Her professional journey includes roles as a Managing Director & Initiative Lead at IIT Institute of Design, CEO of Flip Labs, LLC, Climate Initiative Manager at Solutions Journalism Network, and various positions at esteemed institutions like Carnegie Mellon University, Ashoka, and Fast Company.

She founded and led Future of Fish, distinguishing herself as the West Coast Bureau Chief at Blue Egg, an Associate Editor at CIO Magazine, and Editor at Kellogg Graduate School of Management's Alumni Magazine.
