After an incredible journey at Crown Castle, it is time for me to say farewell. A big thank you to Phil Kelley, Paul Reddick, Chris Levendos, Daniel Schlanger, Laura Nichol, Cathy Piche, and Mike Kavanagh for welcoming me into the fold. The talent in the Corporate Development & Strategy organization was unbeatable. Every single person was passionate about driving revenue and innovation across our portfolio of assets. That enthusiasm was a testament to Phil Kelley and Paul Reddick’s leadership. The team was high-energy and high-integrity from top to bottom. Keith Monahan‘s M&A team led us through diligence and investments across towers, small cells, data centers, fiber, SD-WAN, and security. Michael Connelly’s Strategy team provided deep analysis and insights for nascent technologies, competitive threats, and pivotal trends. My Business Development team was comprised of sharp technology and strategy subject matter experts who spearheaded Crown Castle’s exploration of new asset classes such as IoT, Drones, Edge, Satellite, EV Charging, Indoor Wireless, and more. We created opportunities for entry into new markets, identified partners, and built out business models and first offers. Our extensive cross functional work was buoyed by the Public Policy team under the brilliant Staci L Pies - who brought her experience from Google and Microsoft to help us navigate the complex environment surrounding all of these new initiatives - and Phil West, our beloved VP of Corporate Communications, who supported us wholeheartedly as we worked to promote our rapidly evolving portfolio of initiatives. Finally, a special shout-out to the Edge team: I am especially proud of the work that we did to develop the Edge at Crown Castle. The Edge team brought together deep Engineering, Sales, Strategy, Legal and Bus Dev expertise to push the envelope on combined data center and connectivity solutions. Sharif Fotouh, Tim Piccirilli, Zach Francis, Jeffrey P. Hannah, Wesley Klaus, Peter Kalogerakos, Rachael Dahl Hinojosa, Ian McConnell, and Steve Viron- You are trailblazers. It would be impossible to name every single person that made my time at Crown Castle a joy. It has been a pleasure working with such a talented team. I’m also grateful to have had a chance to spend time in Houston and experience some of the magic of Texas firsthand. Thank you. I hope to collaborate with my Crown Castle crew again in the future.
