Chime Asonye, J.D., is a highly accomplished individual with a diverse background in law, program management, advocacy, and international development.

Chime holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from Northwestern University School of Law and a B.A. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

With extensive experience in various organizations, Chime has served as the Director of Programs at Debate Nigeria, and as the founder of Nigerian Mental Health and NaijaDC.

His professional journey includes roles such as Innovation Manager for COVIDaction at the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office and Partnership and Engagement Manager at the Foundation for Partnership Initiatives in the Niger Delta (PIND).

Chime has also served as the Senior Special Assistant on Sustainable Development Goals to the Governor at the Office of the Governor of Abia State, Nigeria, and as Commissioner at the District of Columbia Commission on African Affairs.

Additionally, he has held positions at the Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President of Nigeria on Millennium Development Goals, the International Republican Institute, the U.S. House of Representatives Subcommittee on Africa and Global Health, the Permanent Mission of Nigeria to the United Nations, and the United States Agency for International Development and Development Alternative Inc.

Chime Asonye's expertise spans legal affairs, program development, policy analysis, advocacy, and international consultancy, making him a versatile professional in the fields of law, governance, and development.
