Some time has passed and I reflect back on my time at Farfetch with great fondness.  At Farfetch, I think we accomplished more in Supply Chain in the last five years than was achieved in the previous ten.  Multiple projects were delivered against a backdrop of Covid, then Brexit, not to forget the Suez Canal problems and all the other fun stuff that has been thrown at us Logistics folk.  What a great ride - with some invaluable experiences and a lot of dear friends gained along the way.

After being lucky enough to take two months out on sabbatical to re-energise, I’ve had time to ponder the road moving forwards and how I would use the skills and experience I had gained over the last 25 years working in Global Logistics and Supply Chain.

So, it’s with great pleasure, I can announce today the creation of my own Logistics Consultancy - carriboo.

According to research from Amazon, 72% of owners of small and medium enterprises in the UK lack confidence on how to scale their business online… 73% of that sample said that logistics support was an area where they would appreciate more support and guidance (Source: Retail Times)

The purpose of carriboo is to be able to provide this guidance and support without the cost of hiring in-house talent.

We offer 12 key Supply Chain services ranging from cost control, including duty and tax management, through to returns and marketplace optimisation.

The website is still under construction but coming soon.  A lot of friends have helped us along the way, so a huge thank you to you all.  However, a special thank you to David Smith, Matt Howe and James Watson who I have been annoying almost daily since this project started.  You guys rock.

If anyone in my network would like more information about carriboo, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
