Many of my friends on LinkedIn know me from my technology reporting and consulting work. Others know me from experiences shared in metrology and process instrumentation. Increasingly, I’m finding those worlds colliding in an exhilarating way.
In 2022, Valley Instrument provided Turck cordsets to SK siltron css's SiC plant in Michigan and shipped Crystal Engineering pressure gauges to TSMC in Arizona. We also took orders for Ralston Instruments fittings from US Navy supply ships sailing halfway across the world and deployed RKI Instruments, Inc. gas detection systems for aerospace customers in Mojave, CA.
In the last month, I renovated our calibration laboratory, rack-mounting the Fluke Corporation/Keysight Technologies workhorses to make room for a new Additel Corporation 780S pressure controller, enabling .01% rdg accuracy from vacuum to 3000 PSI.
At the same time, Texpert Consulting is busier than ever, generating test data, pre-production evaluations, creating technical content, and helping marketing departments build rapport with PC enthusiasts. Most of what I do for Texpert is embargoed.
