This week, we celebrate the launch of the Great American Elderverse™ with the Consumer Technology Association Foundation (CTA) and many others!

The program is intended to bring healthy VR/XR solutions to lower-income, underserved seniors communities across the nation. We kicked off in Manhattan at the The New Jewish Home, a pioneer in elder care since 1848! What? Yes, 176 years of innovation in healthcare meets spatial computing! Thanks Dr. Jeffrey Farber and team!

Then, we celebrated an exciting launch with Christian Health of New Jersey, who have been innovating in elder care since 1911. Thanks Douglas Struyk, CPA LNHA and team!

So, what is Thy Elderverse?

Well, it's an app, it's a virtual destination, it's a catalogue of magical and healing content, it's an expanding network, and it's a set of next-generation caregiver tools. But, at the core, it's a fun and highly engaging experience that empowers our elders to live happier, healthier and more connected lives while on Mother Earth!

I'd like to thank Stephen Ewell (CTA Foundation) and all of our amazing partners for making this happen:

HTC VIVE – providing lightweight, immersive glasses to deliver stunning visual and spatial audio experiences AT&T – providing fast and secure 5G service for seamless IoT connectivity NETGEAR – providing best-in-class WiFi to each location with Nighthawk M6 Pro 5G mobile hotspots Select Rehabilitation – clinical leadership for use in OT/PT/ST

The initial launch is also made possible by the Steven & Alexandra Cohen Foundation generous support to the CTA Foundation. ❤️

At Mynd, we take great pride in helping caregivers, clinicians, and therapists harness this next generation of immersive therapeutics to enhance mental, physical, cognitive, emotional and spiritual health. Thanks Shelley Wisnowski, Shawn Wiora!

We take great pride in our research relationships. Thanks Stanford University!

We take great pride in building the largest Veteran network reaching over 100 facilities across the US. Thanks Jonathan Spier Anne Lord Bailey, PharmD, BCPS Caitlin Rawlins, MSN, RN Skip Rizzo, Jessica Benson, Evan Davis, CTRS!

From a personal level, this is one of the most meaningful programs I have been involved with. I couldn't be more grateful for the leadership of my long-term partner at Mynd, Ted Werth. And, I couldn't be more proud of Dave Rawlins and the entire Mynd Immersive team for operationalizing this vision.
