I need your help!
I was laid off from Civic Elevator last week as part of a restructuring. It's a bummer but it is what it is. I am immensely proud of everything we were able to build there over the past 3 years: multiple mobile apps, data scrapers and analytics tools, business process automation, and a whole lot more. I wish the team nothing but success.
This means that I'm now looking for a new job! I am most interested in site reliability engineering and platform development work. I really enjoy taking over troubled projects and infrastructure and turning them around. I'm comfortable with IC, team lead, and management roles. I can do full time or contract, remote or Chicago-based.
It's a weird time to be looking for a job as there is a ton of churn in the market. If you know of something that might be a good fit for me, please get in touch!
Finally, even if you aren't hiring, can you please share this message with your network? Every little bit helps.
Thank you!
