Chris Henderson is a humanitarian professional with a focus on South and Southeast Asia, dedicated to advancing innovative education policies that empower youth to become healthy, informed, and aspirational citizens.

His work emphasizes teacher and child-centered strategies, collaborative practices, and quality professional relationships as catalysts for educational and social transformation.

With a background in project management, research, and program design, Chris has expertise in Teacher Professional Development, Education in Emergencies, Adolescent Development, and Gender and Human Rights in Education.

He holds a Doctor of Education (EdD) in International Educational Development from Columbia University, a Master of Education (MEd) from the University of Sydney, and has also studied at Harvard University Graduate School of Education and The University of Auckland.

Chris has contributed his skills and knowledge to various organizations such as Teachers College at Columbia University, INEE - Inter-agency Network for Education in Emergencies, UNICEF, The University of Waikato, The World Bank, and UNESCO, among others.
