Chris Henrichs is the Co-Founder and Head of Partnerships at Boon Health, a company focused on improving mental well-being in the workplace.3 He co-founded Boon Health with Alex Simmons in August 2020.34 The company offers businesses a holistic, personalized mental well-being coaching platform that provides employees with confidential 1:1 coaching sessions.3
Prior to founding Boon Health, Henrichs had a diverse career:
- He worked at Eden, a real estate technology startup, as NYC General Manager & Growth Team Lead from July 2017 to July 2020.3
- Before that, he was employed at J.P. Morgan in various roles, including Private Banker and Analyst, from 2012 to 2017.3
Henrichs holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Michigan and attended Evanston Township High School (ETHS).3 He is based in Chicago, Illinois, and has experience in finance, startups, and partnerships.23

Last week, Boon hosted our annual off-site, 100% in person.
The entire Boon team came to our HQ in Detroit. Seeing everyone’s faces, some for the first time outside of a little box on Zoom, brought me so much joy. We’ve come so far as a business:

All the while setting our vision, goals, and priorities over the next 1-5 years.
When Alex Simmons, Robin Axelrod and I founded Boon back in 2020 our goal was to offer the most approachable, customized coaching platform that supported mental well-being for employees. This was a vital resource when “the workplace” was abruptly redefined. As businesses faced a new set of employee challenges, like isolation, uncertainty, and burnout, our top concern became supporting our customer’s mental well-being.
But as we continued to grow, we kept getting feedback that while mental well-being was a big priority, and still is, more than 50% of employees wanted a professional growth resource as well.
Now in 2024, our coaching is more professional, while keeping our whole human support as part of our DNA. We see the personal and professional as inextricably linked, and our coaches help employees, one-by-one, turn hardships into opportunities so they can reach their full potential (even if they can’t see it themselves just yet.)
