Hey everyone, seems like this week you can't escape talk of the London Marathon, so I thought I'd add my bit... Yes, I'll be braving the 26.2 mile course and the wet weather tomorrow to run London! 🏃♂️ (OK, maybe I'll walk a bit 😁)
It's all in memory of my Dad, and to show my support for Farleigh Hospice - an Essex based charity helping people affected by life-limiting illnesses and bereavement.
Training had been going well, I got a couple of half-marathons under my belt, but I've taken a month away from it all due to shin splints (ouch). I'm determined to go the distance though, so wish me luck!
