Chris Nicholson is a Technical Operations leader with a decade of experience specializing in policy, startups, and data.

In his recent role as a Technical Operations Analyst at Infinicept, Chris developed internal tooling for a financial tech company using JavaScript, Python, and Retool.

He is a co-founder of Global EIR, aiding foreign entrepreneurs in establishing businesses in the U.S. and securing over $40MM in venture capital through university partnerships across six states.

Chris also served as a policy advisor for a Silicon Valley family office, managing relations with federal officials and arranging capitol hill visits for startups. Additionally, he has consulted on political campaigns and worked as a voter targeting expert.

His expertise includes Policy Development, Program Management, Strategic Community Building, Political Campaigning, and Innovative Fundraising.

With technical skills encompassing database management, GIS visualization, digital content creation, and proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, GIS, and Drupal, Chris is well-rounded in both technical and policy spheres.

He pursued a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Southern California and continued his studies in Political Science at Reed College.

The best thing any one can do is focus on what's in front of them and do it well. The grand narrative and its big emotions are just distractions.

Politics is this amazing pill that makes smart people stupid. Tribal commitments push people who are otherwise able to weigh evidence into wishful thinking. Lots of great reasons to line up with the ingroup. Thought becomes a veneer for signals of belonging.
