#FuelingTheSpaceEconomy

Feb 1 · linkedin

This year, more than ever, it was a privilege to accept an invitation to present during #IsraelSpaceWeek. Held in honor of Israel’s first astronaut who was among the ill-fated Columbia crew, the #IlanRamonSpaceConference brings together #space sector leaders from all over the world.

Compared to many, my investment was small.

I joined my partner and friend, ili cohen, for a fireside chat to discuss #spacetech.

I gave investors a crash course in #earthobservation, space sector disruption, and the evolution of today’s #spaceeconomy.

But in the end, the dividends were huge. Paid in the opportunity to experience the incredible resilience, grace, and hospitality of my hosts. I can’t help but think Ilan Ramon would be proud of the spirit of collaboration demonstrated in Herzliya this week.

Many thanks to the Director of the Israel Space Agency, Uri Oron, and the countless others who indulged the space geek in me this week. I look forward to next year.

“The world looks marvelous from up here, so peaceful, wonderful, and fragile. Everybody, all of us down there, not only in Israel, have to keep it clean and good.” — Ilan Ramon
