The ink is now wet, and the weaving has finally begun! I’m very excited to announce that next year I'll be directing our first pre-school stop-motion children’s show. Tweedy & Fluff has been bubbling away for the best part of 8 years and will go into production next year in our new studio facility in Birmingham. Commissioned by Channel 5, Milkshake and supported by the BFI Young Audiences Content Fund, Tweedy & Fluff was created by children's author Corrinne Averiss and we’ve developed it for stop-motion with our team at Second Home Studios, with Martin Tapley co-producing. It's been a long rollercoaster ride to get to this point and an intensive final year to get this ready to go. About a child and their first pet, Tweedy & Fluff are two best pals who live in a weaver's cottage and couldn't imagine life without each other. It's exciting to imagine making a show whose style and simplicity harks back to those shows which I remember growing up on. Let's go...
