Co-Founder of The Infatuation, Head of Chase Dining

Chris Stang is the Co-Founder and former CEO of The Infatuation, a popular restaurant discovery platform.13 He founded The Infatuation in 2009 with Andrew Steinthal, creating an editorial platform focused on providing honest restaurant recommendations.3 In September 2021, JPMorgan Chase acquired The Infatuation, including the Zagat brand which The Infatuation had previously purchased from Google in 2018.13

Following the acquisition, Stang transitioned to the role of Managing Director, Head of Dining at JPMorgan Chase & Co., while continuing to lead The Infatuation as a distinct brand under the JPMorgan Chase umbrella.34 In this position, he oversees the integration of The Infatuation's expertise in dining recommendations with JPMorgan Chase's customer offerings.3

Stang is known for his unique approach to food writing and has even been nominated for a James Beard Award for writing a review of a non-existent restaurant.2 He has also authored a book titled "How To Drink Wine".2
