Gaming Career Coach | ex-Riot Games, ex-Deloitte | Coaching talented people at Riot Games, Activision Blizzard, Twitch, Electronic Arts, Google and Startups

Hey 👋 I’m Chris.

I help talented people in the gaming industry advance and win.

Because I had to figure out how to win in the gaming industry all by myself.

At 40, I entered the gaming industry and built the biggest esports products in Southeast Asia for Riot Games.

I had to learn how to:

  • Reignite a burned-out team
  • Manage comically high expectations
  • Navigate treacherous company politics
  • Master the art of crucial conversations
  • Lead a team that is much younger than me
  • Overcome self-doubt and imposter syndrome
  • Inspire and lead through dire emergencies
  • Earn authority and the respect of my peers
  • Foster a culture of independent problem-solving

These lessons didn't just shape me as a leader, they fuel my quest to help other managers as well.

Here's how I can help you

  1. My daily content. Every day I share advice on how to be a better leader and manager in the gaming industry.

  2. Leadership and Executive Coaching. Partner with me for an incisive leadership mentoring experience to craft your vision, strengthen your emotional resilience, and strategize your rise to the top.

My clients include managers at: Riot Games, Activision Blizzard, Google, thriving startups and more!

If you struggle with advancing your career, managing your team or your mental health... send me a DM.

A toxic coworker was killing my productivity.

It took me too long time to realize that I was enabling him.

It is way too easy to surrender agency and control to a colleague that seems confident, that seems like they know what they are doing... and it takes a while to realize when someone is just gaslighting you.

In the gaming industry, tough colleagues bring significant challenges:

  • Innovation stalls.
  • Team synergy falters.
  • Personal stress skyrockets.

Ignoring toxic coworkers won't make them vanish. Your efficiency will continue to suffer, causing prolonged stress and frustration. This detracts from team dynamics, halting innovation and growth. Ultimately, your career satisfaction plummets, stuck in a poisonous environment. Taking action now is crucial to reclaim your professional trajectory and well-being.

You must address this issue now.

Action is essential to avoiding prolonged stress and career damage. Ignoring your toxic coworker will compound problems, making success harder to achieve. However, confronting this issue head-on can rejuvenate your work environment and foster growth.

Does this situation sound familiar?    And if it does, how long will you allow it to continue?

Ever felt like your self-doubt is holding you back?

We all experience moments of self-doubt, especially after setbacks.

While it's natural, the real issue arises when self-doubt stops us from trying and growing.

Instead of trying to conquer self-doubt, acknowledge it as part of your human condition and recognize it as a sign of where you need to grow.

When you feel doubt creeping in, see it as your mind and body telling you where there’s room for improvement.

Embrace it, lean into it, and set up support systems to help you navigate through it.

Failure is part of the learning process, and self-doubt is a natural companion on this journey.

By understanding and accepting your self-doubt, you create space for growth.

Remember, with each level of growth comes new challenges and a different kind of self-doubt.

Don't let self-doubt stop you from reaching your potential.

Embrace it, learn from it, and grow beyond it.

What’s your next step towards growth today?
