I can’t believe it, but today is my last day with Instacart. Next up: a new personal and professional adventure in Munich, Germany where my family and I moved just a few weeks ago. Exciting but also bittersweet, because …

The past six years at Instacart have flown by at lightning speed and were packed with some of the most interesting work of my career – from building Instacart’s first brand comms and social impact functions, to navigating the insanity that was online grocery during the pandemic, to seeing the comms team grow from just a handful of people to more than 30, to getting a front row seat (and behind the scenes peek) at the company’s IPO, and so much more.

But more than anything, I’m grateful for the chance I’ve had to work with, learn from and laugh with the most gifted comms pros I’ve ever encountered. Special thank you to Dani Dudeck and Kelly Pakula for their fierce leadership and kind guidance, and my team over the years for being such a joy to work (and win! 💪) with: Hilary Burns, Lauren Svensson, Alex Orellana, Laura Anderson, Luisa G., Amelia Lukiman, and Erica Kolari. As for the rest of the incredible Instacart Carrots I’ve had the privilege of working with, I’m going to miss you a ton – thank you for being incomparable colleagues and friends. I’ll be cheering you all on from afar.

After a short breather, I’ll be on the hunt for a new gig this side of the Atlantic – if anyone knows anyone looking for fresh comms leadership in Europe, let’s talk!
