Highlights
I’m happy to share that I’ve obtained a new certification: Next-Gen Sales from 6sense!
Let's talk review strategies.
Back in my marketing agency days, I was tasked with making sure our agency showed up as 5 stars on Google, Yelp, etc. At. All. Cost.
I started with the full blast email to our client list asking for reviews... ❌ No one filled out a review.
I started emailing personalized one-off emails to my favorite clients... ❌ A couple of them filled out a review, but just a couple.
I quickly realized the best time to ask someone for a review is after YOU did something amazing for THEM. Sure, I had a candid copy/paste ask handy with the review hyperlinks needed, but I waited until AFTER I finished a project for them, beat a deadline, or went above and beyond. ✔ 100% of my clients gave us 5 stars when I implemented this review strategy instead. Catch 'em while happy.
Since leaving the agency, I wanted to continue to collect reviews about me and my work. I started asking people for LinkedIn Recommendations with the same tactic and have never stopped.
They may not mean much to other people, but I have 35 and counting. 🚀 🌟
