Christian De Vos is a highly educated individual with a diverse academic background. He holds a Doctor of Jurisprudence and Doctorates in Law from American University Washington College Of Law, a Master of Science in International Relations and History from the Department Of Sociology, LSE, a Bachelor of Arts in Politics, African American Studies, and Government from Wesleyan University, and Doctorates in Philosophy and Law from Leiden University.

Throughout his career, Christian De Vos has been associated with various prestigious organizations. He served as the Senior Advocacy Officer at Open Society Justice Initiative within the Open Society Foundations, a Ph.D. Researcher at the Grotius Centre for International Legal Studies at Leiden University, a Law Clerk at the Office of Legal Affairs in the U.S. Court of Appeals, a Dean's Fellow and Consultant at American University, a Research Assistant in the Rule of Law Program at the United States Institute of Peace, a Dean's Fellow for Professor Diane Orentlicher at American University Washington College of Law, a Parliamentary Intern at the United Kingdom House of Commons under Dr. Phyllis Starkey MP, engaged in Research and Publications at HSRC (Human Sciences Research Council), interned at Amnesty International, and worked as a Legal Assistant at Lansner & Kubitschek.
