Christian Stevens is an MD/PhD candidate with a specialization in virology, infectious diseases, and emerging infections. He utilizes computational biology and genetic engineering in his research to address complex challenges in the field.

With a deep commitment to serving marginalized communities, Christian aims to become a physician-scientist advocating for the underserved. He believes that medical research should be prioritized for those most in need.

Aside from his academic pursuits, Christian also has a keen interest in health/science policy and effective communication strategies, showcasing a multifaceted approach to healthcare.

Christian Stevens pursued his secondary education at Phillips Exeter Academy and completed his Bachelor of Science with a major in Joint Chemistry and Biology at Harvey Mudd College.

Currently, he is enrolled as an MD/PhD student at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Over the years, Christian has been involved in various roles such as assistant hockey coach, research assistant, and gene therapy researcher, demonstrating a diverse set of experiences.

His professional journey includes positions as a student proctor, resident advisor, student mentor, and involvement in biomechanics research during his time at Harvey Mudd College. Christian has also contributed as a Thomas J. Watson Fellow and a student teacher, showcasing his dedication to academia and mentorship.

Additionally, Christian's diverse background extends to activities outside of academia, including being a former professional hockey player and a zipline instructor, emphasizing his well-rounded interests and experiences.
