Christian Terwiesch

Professor at The Wharton School

Christian Terwiesch is the Andrew M. Heller Professor at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where he also holds a faculty appointment in Penn’s Perelman School of Medicine. He is an award-winning teacher known for his research in Operations Management and Innovation Management, with publications in top academic journals like Management Science and The New England Journal of Medicine.

Professor Terwiesch is the co-author of the widely-used textbook 'Matching Supply with Demand' and has launched a popular Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) on Coursera based on the book. His expertise in innovation led to the publication of 'Innovation Tournaments' and 'Connected Strategies,' which have been featured in various prestigious publications including the Harvard Business Review. He has consulted for organizations of all sizes, helping them drive innovation through innovative approaches and restructuring of their innovation portfolios.

Additionally, Professor Terwiesch hosts the national radio show 'Work of Tomorrow' on Sirius XM 132. He is a versatile educator with a doctoral degree from INSEAD and a Diploma from the University of Mannheim, with a deep understanding of Operations, Innovation, and Healthcare Management.
