Such a simple statement.
As I listen in to X4 sessions, this simple sentence really hit me. Everyone has a story. In what is happening at work, school, in life - every person has a story. They carry that story with them and it impacts so much of what they are able to do and deliver as a parent, partner, friend, student, child or employee. As a person. Often, we forget to ask.
Breaking the feedback out of structure of standard survey. Breaking notions of how we listen, plan and act on the stories shared - where they are told and how they are told - the core of what we do with the gift of those stories all around us - that is what excites me about experience management.
Listening where people are and remembering the personal experience at the center of every story brings the heart to what we do.
Every person has a story. How much can we change the world if we remember to ask and care to act on the answer?
These last few years have been filled with the unexpected - but how often is there really certainty?
