Christina Jenq

Christina Jenq is an applied labor economist with research interests in gender inequality, development, and political economy. She received her PhD in Economics from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and her BA in Physics from Harvard College.2

Prior to joining NYU Shanghai as an Assistant Professor of Practice in Economics, she was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology's Institute for Emerging Market Studies.14 Her research focuses on topics such as gender, discrimination, labor economics, and Chinese economic history.1
